Wilcomatic Rail Division was set up in 2010 as a division of vehicle wash specialist Wilcomatic.
In that time the division has sold numerous wash plants in the UK and throughout the world, working closely with German automatic wash system manufacturer Otto Christ.
Parent company Wilcomatic, founded in 1967, has partnered Christ in the distribution of high quality, innovative wash systems for decades and employs 65 field engineers to look after more than 1,300 pieces of wash equipment, including rail washes, throughout the UK.
Wilcomatic Rail has supplied over 40 wash systems in the last seven years to turnkey supplier and National Railway systems throughout the world from New Zealand and Australia to the Far East, Middle East and Brazil as well as the UK. We have also supplied very sophisticated remote management systems to monitor machines that are connected via the web.
The size of Wilcomatic’s in-house engineering base and sophistication of its service management systems enables it to offer an unprecedented level of support to UK rail operators.
Internationally, Wilcomatic Rail Division strategy is to work with turnkey providers of rail systems and the company is globally accredited by Bombardier and has supplied a number of systems to Siemens, Hitachi, Mitsubishi Heavy Industries and Scomi.
The extensive product range does not just cover trains and trams, but also monorails, automatic people movers for airports, CETs, refuelling systems and ancillaries.
